Schmid Construction is a family-run company with over 25 years of experience building in the Smoky Mountains. Founded on strong values, hard work, and hands-on craftsmanship, our team has grown into a full-service operation offering new builds, spec homes, custom cabinetry, railing, furniture, and one-of-a-kind woodwork that brings character to any space.

Beyond construction, we provide bucket truck services, structural lifts, and on-site support for projects requiring precision and high-access equipment. With an in-house Realtor offering local market insight and buyer guidance, we also help clients understand the value and potential behind our builds.

  • We proudly serve Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, Waldens Creek, Seymour, Kodak, Pittman Center, and surrounding areas across Sevier County. For special projects, we may extend service upon request.

  • We provide a full range of specialized services, including bucket truck work for tree removal, sign and light installation, and storm cleanup, as well as structural lifts and high-access support for projects requiring precision equipment. Our team also creates custom railing, cabinetry, furniture, and woodwork, and we design and build high-quality spec homes that are marketed and sold throughout Sevier County.

  • We do not build custom homes. Schmid Construction focuses on spec homes — high-quality new builds that we design, construct, and bring to market for buyers. Our homes are thoughtfully planned, professionally designed, and crafted to meet the high demand in the Smoky Mountains.

  • Yes. We market many of our builds early so buyers can follow progress, secure the property, and plan ahead for closing. Buyers can watch the entire journey from foundation to completion.
